Soft briefcase recommendations/alternatives
Hi all, I'm looking to change over to a soft briefcase as my work briefcase. Something small, which I can sling over trolley luggage when necessary. I think this piece from LV is the closest in terms of form (even though it doesn't have a shoulder strap, which would be nice but not essential)...- beebleb

You're probably fairly safe is you buy 1880 line and anything with the word Calf leather in it. I've got 2 pairs of the 1880s and as a former Rockport shoe purchaser, it's night and day.- beebleb

Recommend me some eyeglasses
On the whole rimless thing, I can't stand them. Glasses can and should be an expression of style. For people who wish they didn't wear glasses, there's contact lenses. Have you considered half rims? Maybe with tortoiseshell?- beebleb

Cartier Ring. Thoughts?
Don't do it. You don't want to be forced to wear a brand name for the rest of your life. The Trinity ring IS nice, but not worth the money. Quality is easy to objectively determine for that type of jewelry and there's no need to pay the Cartier premium in this instance. Had to make the same...- beebleb

Shoe fit - What size on an F width shoe if I take UK7G
Hi all, Looking to buy some Loakes online but I'm unsure about fit. I'm a UK7 in a Loake which is G width but the shoes I'm considering are F width. Worth going up to a UK7.5 or chance it? And if I end up a half size too small, do you guys reckon it would stretch out with time (or with a cobbler )- beebleb

What's so bad about flat-front Khakis of various fabrics, colors and patterns? Add to that your leather shoes and belts. And wear some higher-end checkered collar bottun down shirts...
