Is this for the groom, or just any one attending a wedding?

Groom above all.

Best man and groomsmen next.

Attendees, nice but not necessary. Personally, I always wear one as an attendee.

I wore an ivory/cream colored woven grenadine-like tie for my wedding. As an attendee, I like the silver Grenadine or Maccesfield look. I have some glenplaids and houndstooth checks but have never thought of wearing them to weddings.

I'll trade it for a Rubinacci gift certificate.

I hear Tep-doc wants to try the new cologne. Maybe you could buy him a bottle with your certificate.

Not all of them. The checks are not Macclesfields. The raised weave jacquards are.

Also, all Macclesfields are not wedding ties. The color palatte matters. There are lovely Macclesfields in all colors, but only some of them are really wedding ties.

I don't think he would trade with me. Apparently I did something to upset him, though I don't know what it was. Sad. You'd think that we dissatissfied Nicolosi customers would have a bond.

If others wear the same tie, is there anything the groom can wear to "stick out?"

A Morning suit rather than a stroller suit? That'd make you stand out.

Thanks - but I was thinking tie wise if most people will be all decked out in mostly the same garb.

The groom could wear a beautiful antique tie pin, like the House of Windsor does at Royal weddings.
