Which tie method creates the largest knot?

I prefer my ties to have the largest, fattest knot ever. The windsor knot is the fattest I'm aware of, but it looks awfully formal, so for more casual settings I'll use a half-windsor with a few extra loops.

Are there any other extremely large tie knot methods?

A full Windsor is going to give you the fullest knot by far.

There's also the triple-Windsor.

I believe that would be the Full Nelson.

Is that what you all call the triple-Windsor in Vegas?

Try the Balthus. It's so big it has its own gravitational pull.

As long as your tie has enough length, so that after your various maneuvers to achieve a humongous knot, you can always just wrap and wrap many times to get that big knot.
