Ah, yes, I agree with that law completely. That law is enforced by culture here in New Jersey. Things like highbeaming, tailgaiting, and the Garden State Salute are common ways of dealing with left lane dicks.

Actually, I can't tell you. Most of the midwest looks so alike that I cannot accurately gauge distances when driving anymore : )

I thought you would! Thouhg I must say none of the Jersey solutions are really so good either -- on the Autobahns, culture enforces it out of a sense of "it's just not done."

Yeouch. Just once the Jag and I had a little romp (not, of course implying that I broke any speed limits), but it was fortunately without incident. She must've liked it though as the engine sounded happy.

For me, that would take about 25 seconds, assuming a peak overtake speed of 20mph.

Wapanese people. Go to urbandictionary if you don't know what this term means.

From you post, it sounded as if on a two-lane blacktop.

I think I'm guilty. When having a conversation on the sidewalk w/ 3 persons, I find it weird to have one person trailing behind, or be the person trailing behind.

People that feel you need to "define" blanket statements when you're simply bitching off the top of your head in a thread about things you can't understand.

Why some women only get manicures on one hand. It's just really awkward (for them) when I see (and continuously stare) 2 inch long acrylic nails painted bright pink on only one hand. And, it just looks real ghetto gurl.

Why people are happy to have their tax dollars pay for highways that still stay clogged up with cars all the time, yet are loathe to spend money on public transportation that would take cars off the road.

I think in the DC area, people would rather pay to add more lanes to the Beltway than add an outer ring to the Metro connecting all the end points.

We know they'd rather try to drive on 66 than pressure the gov't to help pay for a Metro line out to Dulles.

+1. I will be unbelievably pissed if the Metro doesn't go out to the airport, I'm tired of commuting from Annapolis to Dulles sitting in traffic when I can just drive to New Carrollton and get on the train.
