I was under the impression that an MLS is the highest degree available in library science.

I've completed 3 Associate's degrees, at the end of the summer I will have completed six and a 2-year GIS certificate program. I plan on following through with two or three 4-year degrees.

A "Sacra Theologia Doctor"? I'd say that's a terminal degree.

I have a PhD. It's basically a requisite if you're an academic like myself...

A master's degree should NOT be lumped with a professional degree IMHO. I got my MS a few years back and it didn't help that much.
