How warm does it need to get to compel you to switch from your winter to spring wardrobe? Consistent high 50s/low 60s? Even warmer? Or, do you simply go by the calendar and not the thermometer?

This probably makes sense in the Dakotas. In Texas it's a bit late, spring is nearly over by then.

^Hey, I'm just working with what I got man. My winter tires come off when the temperature reaches 45°F. I'm hoping that'll happen in May also.

Considering that we just got six inches of snow yesterday and are due for 5-10" tomorrow . . . no time soon. :-(

Weather driven for me, calendar be damned (with certain honorable exceptions).

Google translater sux. I'm a French idiot so I'll need to ask my 15 year old when I get home:

Google: In April, you do not find a wire. In May, does what he te plait

Even though it was around 70 degrees last Sunday, snow and cold weather continue to be in the forecast here, through next week actually. I'm in my flannel suit today and will be in another one tomorrow as up to 3 inches of snow is expected. So for the time being I'll keep the snow tires on and I'll keep wearing flannel. Hopefully I can transition in early April if daytime highs are somewhat consistently at least 60.

In April, don't wear even a thread less. But in May, do what you like.
(it does rhyme in French though)
