Maharlika, dig it as usual. You look like a train conductor. I find that often your fits have a costumey-theme to them, which I normally am not drawn to, but you always pull them off with aplomb.

Thank you Black Cherry Im going for that workwear theme and I"m so glad that you finally figured me out.

halifamous-- I can appreciate the lighting on your portrait shot. Very nice. It would be more effective if there were more depth of field.

Tell the people that make the macbook cameras.

There is only ONE distance to be from it that provides any detail.

Halifamous, Roadsalt-braving hi-five!

Maharlika, yeah, I've got your number, haha. You could post a fit one day dressed like a civil war re-enactor (Complete with goofy mustache) and I'm pretty sure you could make it work. You've got the touch.

You're VGL no matter what camera.

Guy burgess- I like this. Makes me think i might be able to pull off a TaT sweater. Nice to see a fit of your's without a cast and crutches.

hali- I like that shirt (jil right?). How do the NDCs hold up to relatively heavy wear? I was thinking of grabbing a pair of blacks to wear with similar outfits for teaching next year (the casual dressed up stuff).

I don't know about the cuffs. I think I would have folded them over to 2" length to give it more of a "construction worker" vibe. Still, I really like the color scheme.

I've felt guilty for the past year for not owning a TaT product. Not just because I'd like to support my pseudo asian half-brother, but because the truth is I'm not a trad person by nature; I wouldn't want to cop something I didn't think I'd feel comfortable in style-wise or that I'd try too hard to pull off. Plus, I'm pretty sure if I posted a fit pic and it sucked, GS would beat the **** out of me. He already knows where I live.

Guy, however, is making me rethink my stance.

thanks to those who left comments on my last picture...

i agree with the second half of this statement...i've always felt pictures, especially those where you're just standing there to pose for the camera with no particular context or purpose, may be a good way of showing what you're wearing, but with all pictures it is impossible to convey a sense of the person's style unless it's a living shot, as the second one was. If you can't see a person going about their life, moving in those clothes, then i don't think one can make an accurate judgment about "style."
