With my limited Russian, this looks like a 'Where Can I Get Toe Plates in Mockba' thread

Gosh, they seem to take their shoeporn very seriously in Russia,
although friend "˜Konstantin', squeezing all his shoes, wearing white gloves, appears a bit creepy:

Has anyone, ever, seen a C&J shoe like that? Even in Paris, they wouldn"˜t dare to go that far:

I suppose, it's not only learning Japanese, now it's learning Russian as well.

That is what i thought to, not a lot of information in the squeezing imo, of course a shoe with a cap or other seams would squeeze differently. But I suppose there is a lot of information in it for the "squeeze"

What i have found on other Faires like that is that it is a venue to present new ideas, for client (buyer) feedback. And possible production. So this may in deed be a pre collection sample, not for any particular market. I found my self thinking i similar lines. and apparently it would be slightly easier. Not quite like the 26000 ideogrames of which you need to understand & pronounce half to be understood ... And apparently in Japanese a misspronounciation of a compliment can be a insult, quite daunting in my eyes. Speed Speed

You are correct, sir. Russians, as well as citizens of former USSR republics, like their clothes expensive, even though not always tasteful.

To demonstrate the soft, supple leather and lack of side "inserts" (I am sure that's not the proper term) of this Edward Green shoe.

A lot of manufactures are now making products for russia. When I was at Canali this season they made a jacket specifically for the Russian market and have only booked it there. (For those who are curious it was a down jacket with a mink collar and mink hook wouldn't really fly in the US and they have not booked a piece of it outside Russia).

Thanks for posting gives me something to read later tonight.

He does not wanna leave any fingerprints ...

Seriously though, I believe in Moscow there are more Kiton and Santoni shops then anywhere else.
