Yeah, and we're all hoping you get to bang Winnie Cooper soon! With a full report filed here shortly thereafter, of course.

Things that are earnestly pissing me off are getting fewer and fewer with age it seems- either thats some kind of demetia setting in or even some form of progress in my philosophical or even spiritual studies that let me face even my own misfortunes with an inner -almost masochistic- smile...

Basically lack of self irony [taking oneself too seriously], of humor wit and intelligence get on my nerves, but since the absence of those phenomena is so ubiquitous its futile to antagonize them overly much...then maybe also an unprofessional attidude pisses me off: this means for example that some craftsman sees it necessary to "explain" his own job and its workings to me....or geekdom: knowledge- be it about bespoke clothes
wink.gif
about private jets, comic books or some science- is set as an "Absolute" and anyone who doesnt know it, anyone who is not interested in it is designated an idiot - be it that they are experts in other fields or not: to the geek they are all "unworthy". I know Im such a child of my age that is one of unromantic relativism one of "questioning everyhting and knowing nothing" but still ppl w/o such wit elegance and insight into themselves are simply exhausting me at times....

Lay off the kid.

At your age, everyone's an accomplished failure at life. It's only when you get older that certain failures really distinguish themselves.

I recall seeing Winnie (or maybe it was the girl who played Blossom) on 60 Minutes a few months ago. It was about how she's getting her PhD in something at UCLA.

Winnie^. She's a mathematician.

And JB, your posts are always so endearing. Brings a tear to my eye.
