They are pretty soft calf, rubber soled, very comforable. Welted construction, etc. You can see some more pics in page 247 of the shoe Appreciation thread, along with some of my others.

I live in the UK and visit Northampton fairly often, I bought these from the Lobb factory shop. If you want to PM me your size, I can have a look next time I'm in there. I think they were 235GBP.

I would imagine that those are the Forum Special - the round toe boot rather than the chisel toe of the Craftsman.

I believe that they're the Yearling as stated in the post. Definitely not the Forum Special as the sole is stitched on instead of screwed on. Edit: Yearling but with Flat heel instead of block heel.

Good catch; I can't even see the stitching on my monitor. I assumed he meant yearling leather.
