Ian Poulter ran his mouth off a bit much as well, taking aim at Tiger earlier this season, to absolutely no avail. For that matter, any golfer who talks trash.

Poulter, to his credit, claimed he was misquoted and stated very clearly what he meant, which I found in no way douchey. I don't mind a golfer talking trash, but like any sport, you have to be able to back it up. Which is why talking trash to Tiger makes you look like a douche.

Oh, you're definitely a Jayhawks fan. I thought you were going to say he punched a coach in the throat or something.

IIRC, it was right before overtime was going to start, and he obviously didn't think he had time to make it to a toilet. It's pretty gross, but I can't in good conscience place him among the other fine D-bag contenders mentioned here based on this incident alone.

Admittedly, more than a little embarrassing, but as long as he made a reasonable effort to be discreet, what's a committed player to do? Bag out on his team at a critical time to go wee-wee in private?
