I know, I know David Beckham etc, but I was thinking about cutting my hair a bit shorter on the sides, and trim the neck a bit too to leave some hair there too. Then leave the top pretty much untouched except maybe a bit of layers? So I can mess it up with gel or pomade and go with either a faux hawk or something else? Ideas?

what kind of hair product would you use to get that look (in the first post)?

Wax and gel to a towel dried head, then just circle your front hair with your fingers and lastly pull it all up. There rest of the head is just finger combed into shape.

Why ? Would you like the same style or are you going to recommend me a new one?

I think a slightly shaved head would look good on you. I think the layered Beckham cut would look good too, but only if you grow it out longer than Beckham. Good luck.

It looks about your size... it'd probably fit.

Make sure you know their return policy before making a final decision though.

I'd be especially careful about this, it veers toward mullet-dom.

Get rid of the bangs, cut your hair equal length all over but not too short.
