Smart cars and eco-friendly cars are for tree-hugging liberals. I find it so funny that we live in the most capitalist country in the world, yet there are still people out there that look down with disdain at others that drive gas guzzling suv's and the such. I was raised that it is my God givin American right to live as large as possible for the short amount of time that were here. If you dont agree, thats great, to each his own, but please, dont try to push your liberal garbage on the rest of us.

I am further to the right politically and idealogically than most people here, but ridiculous statements like this are why people, including some Americans, hate Americans. I am only consoled by the fact that I believe TheGreek is merely a zit-faced teenager.

So basically, you agree to me shotgunning your head off and occupying your house in order to live as large as possible? No? How liberal of you!

Thanks Thurston,

I was to replay to TheGreek's post but refrained myself to avoid the usual and tired "You-hate-America" rant.

Respect mother earth young man, for she is the source of all the good in our lifes

+1. This thread smacks of people trying to create a "total look". I find it pretty laughable that somebody thinks stepping out of a relatively inexpensive car could ruin the look of your good suit. It is kind of reminiscent of the "what is the tardest" questions over on AAAC. When you think this way you need to be careful that when something small gets out of place, you don't let it ruin your life.

After reading many of the responses, I am always amused when I see people respond with something like, "it looks weird stepping out of a crummy car with a Kiton/Brioni suit on". Do people really think that the average person can tell which suits are high-end and which are not, just by looking at them? As long as a suit is well tailored, it will almost always look good.

I have a good friend who always said that the discrepency between "rich" and wealth is how long you could survive at your current lifestyle if you main source of income were to be cut off. The longer you could last at said lifestlye - the wealtheir you are.

I accept conservative and liberal viewpoints as comprehensible political perspectives. I don't think idiocy is a valid political perspective.

You are clearly an American. Shouldn't you know that your rights are those established in the constitution and the bill of rights? You have no "God givin American right." Believe what you want politically, but strive to be less of a ignorant halfwit while you're at it.

I would have thought that a 300k car would be purchased by a partner or at least some level of MD. I didn't know junior vice presidents in charge of new accounts got paid so well.

Only group heads and MD rockstars at investment banks make enough money to have a $300K weekend car. These same people aren't going to mess around with altering $300 suits and worrying about paying full retail. In other words, I'd bet HB is a internet poseur who probably works at a community bank in northern California and parks his car in a garage where some big shot occassionally parks his Lambo. If he takes pics it will be of this variety. I'm not quite sure why this wasn't evident to everybody after his first post about it.
