If I had a bottomless wallet, I think I'd lean toward distinctive cars that you rarely see, even if their price tags aren't as impressive. It's the classic cars of the 60's, 70's, and early 80's that you simply don't see any more, and that would make more of a statement than the latest factory-standard luxury sedan.
