For the last year I've felt tired all the time. It's pissing me off because it effects all aspects of my daily life--including my sex life. All because I never go to the gym and I have no will power over junk food so I'm getting fat.

I'm heading to the gym tonight. ****.

rdawson needs MOAR SLEEP

try waking up at the same time every day for a week. If you see no improvement, wake up either an hour earlier (and actually get out of bed) or an hour later

If I wake up at 6 or 8, life is good. If I wake up at 7, i feel like garbage for the whole day.

Find what works for you.

If all else fails, drink till you pass out.

I've gone through that a few times when I'm not getting enough sleep and I'm not getting any exercise. The gym will help, but also think about some supplements. Just taking a lot of fish oil, green tea extract, multi-vitamin, and a few other things has me thinking clearer, waking up faster, and having more energy during the middle of the day than I had before. With the same amount of sleep.

Ya know that's funny, I was having a few problems like those about 2 months ago, and I started taking fish oil, green tea extract, and a multi (centrum silver even though I'm 20) and within 10-15 days I could notice a marked improvement in how I felt throughout the day, how I felt waking up, how I thought clearly, everything.

I actually go to bed at about 9:30 every week night and wake at 6am. It's regular. I get plenty of sleep. Maybe "tired" should be more classified as "fatigued." Like I'm fat and out of shape.

And I take a multivitamin every day. I've never tried fish oil or anything like that. Maybe I'll give it a shot.

To make matters worse, I'm diabetic so when going to the gym, I have to make plans for it. Plans which can easily be thwarted. Wed. night my blood sugar ran too low (even though I was running a lower basal rate on my pump for the previous hour). Some nights it's too high. It's like a vicious circle. Can't get your BG under control without the gym, can't go the gym without your BG under control. Thankfully last night was fine and I worked out for an hour.

For me, even that first workout makes me feel better. Now I just have to keep going.

Thanks for the tips guys.

For the last week I've been going to sleep at 4-4:40 am and waking up at 8-9am and I feel like crap. Feels like my head is heavy and I'm out of it. Just too many projects to juggle and I've overextended myself.

When the project is done on Jan 29th I will be taking a nice long sleep.

Drug-induced coma sounds like what you need.

Marriage is a death of hope.

Why people feel it is appropriate to clip their nails on public transit?
Or apply nail polish in a car full of people?
I am seeing one of those morons every week.
I have vitnessed these grooming habits even in my office.
