I'm looking at a number of swatches from Jantzen; ultimately I'd like to order about 5 shirts.

These will be slim-fit shirts with Italian spread collars, plain front/back, and french cuffs.

I'd like your help in narrowing down my choices. Thanks!

Those are really... out there. I'd wear 7 and possibly 8.

I wouldn't blow my nose on the majority of those fabrics.

I like patterns and textures more than many and I would only consider 7 & 8.

With some of them I feel like I was picking out wallpapers, or curtains.

Only #7 for me.

Okay, I'm a bit of a marsupial but the poll said "pick 5" so I chose #5. But then I looked at #5 and I think I've had skid marks look better.

Those look like fabric more suited for really casual shirts...the kind you would wear without a tie.

That's exactly what they're meant to be; I already have the basics and don't really wear suits much. Plus I'm 25 so these would be nice lively shirts, except that they would fit well.

Some funny responses, for sure

Thanks for clarifying, for casuals I could in a pinch add 4&5. But probably rather as bouble button barrel cuff ... Otherwise its just the #7 with french. Speed

7/8 for me, but the rest (especially #1, 4) are just butt ugly. Then, to each their own, right?

#1 & #4 might work with a charcoal crewneck and a scarf.

Except for 7 or 8, none of those shirts should never get near a cufflink and even those are a stretch.
Nor does a spread collar really make any sense for these shirts, no matter what people who put crap in their hair tell you. If you must get a shirt from these choices, choose one of the casual collar styles and see if they have any dyed pearl buttons that fit better. On most of these fabrics, white MOP would be a little jarring. Also have the buttonholes sewn with matching (NOT contrasting) thread.
