Not a big champagne guy but I always drink it during celebrations and holidays. My favs:
Veuve Cliquot Yellow Label- above average taste, easy to find, low/moderate price. Perfect for those times when I decide to get a bottle 2 hours before a get together.
Krug NV- had this on NYE... very good. Given the level of wine stores in my area, tough to find. I think I paid $70 for a 375ml.
Bollinger NV- a little less enjoyable than the Krug for my taste buds. Same problem with Krug for price/availability though.
I had plenty of other $30-50 bottles when trying to find one for my wedding reception last year, but none stood out enough to recall now...
Would love to try a Krug Rose or DP Rose one day. It'll have to be a day when my wife has no way of discovering the purchase price

How in the whole wide world could this 'KID' taste the difference from a bottle of ******* Moët & Chandon Brut Imperial (non vintage) from a Salon -85. Stop the bullshitting Gunnar, (du framstår bara mer som en pank nolla).

1990,1998,2000,1996 Dom Perignon, I have a case of the '96 in my cellar and I'll probably have 2 bottles left by Friday.

I saw M&C White Star recommended, so I'm going to address it briefly. Please don't waste your money on this stuff. It's M&C's American wine, and it's so laden with sugar it's almost undrinkable. If you like your champagne to be more than just bubbles and sugar, look elsewhere.

Schramsberg Blanc de Noir is our new, regular favorite. At about $35 a bottle it is a great value. I don't recall anything under $100 a bottle that tastes as good.Originally Posted by pocketsquareguy

They made around 3000 bottles available for sale in 2007 according to their own site.
I have relatively hard time locating them in MA . Meaning I know two stores that carry that Champagne in Rose and I have to drive 30-40 minutes to either.
If you call around you might find a store in your area that stocks it. Ask for Anderson Valley Roederer with Pink Foil (regular ubiquitous Roderer has a gold one).
