^^That would make me feel like I was taking a family portrait. Or a high school yearbook photo. Why fake a smile for a bunch of guys on the internet?

Polite Society in Seattle (one of the best stores in town), who I think have the only wholesale account of Oscar's outside of the UK. They haven't ordered anything new from him in awhile, though I bug them about it constantly. Maybe something will come up for F/W 08...

do you guys just splash yourselves against a wall, make a zoolander facial pose and then convince a passerby to take a photo?

how exactly does it work?

Usually we have entire teams of photographers and their staffs running around behind the scenes to take our shots. On occasion though, we'll just use a tripod and the timer function on our cameras.

It's an incredibly involved process. First, you have to find a stable surface. This is hard, because here in Philly, we exist in a very low-gravity environment. But it's doable. Then, you have to set the timer on your camera. This requires pretty much the equivalent of an engineering post-doc, so if you're thinking of going this route, get ready to hit the books! Then you hit the button. THEN you go for the Zoolander pose.

I don't know, I just like to see happy people. I've seen a lot of ads with people smiling where it looked natural. It doesn't have to be like a portrait.

I'm happy on the inside. Like a Twinkie, except that instead of creamy filling, I have happiness.

Maybe it's easier for some of us to just take a quick photo of ourselves than stand around and play Sister Maryfuckingsunshine in front of a camera. But hey, let's play devil's advocate:

Yeah, Sauce. You look "filled" all right...
