Some of you have probably already seen this, but.. yea.. what. the. ****.

I hate uninformed God-freaks.

Wow.... for starters, a game like that isn't going to be able to be bought by a kid, and what parent is going to give their kid their Best Buy CC when the kid asks for it? Seriously, Ron Paul is a nutbag, but what the author says Ron Paul would say is exactly right. It's not the govt's job to raise your kids. This guy wants the candidates to grow a pair and put a stop to it, why doesn't this guy grow a pair and make it so his kid and his kids friends don't get the game?

And the cartoon in the 3rd link is spot-on! lol

But seriously, I'm impressed that you've moved on from actually playing games to waxing poetic about the glory days of EQ on message boards.

97-2000 were the glory days of MMOs imo. EQ, UO, and AC were all awesome games. The stuff since then doesn't compare because they try to impose too many rules and restrictions and plan every element of the experience.

I'll agree with that. Newer MMORPGs have been rather devoid of the "RPG" part. That's why, as far as newer MMOs go, I love EVE. It encourages tooling around and discovering.

Jon, I do virtually nothing all day and I still don't have the time to play all the games you have. EVE Online? Are you serious?

Homer: Rainbow Six Vegas online is incredible. We played the hell out of that one. However, I've since canceled my XBL.

Yoo, I need to get my network straightened out first but let's do it. I've only played a real person in that game 3 times so it could be ugly!

Me too, there was a blizzard here last winter that shut the city down and I played that game for 1 week straight. Get up, eat cereal, bust caps till bedtime. Played it alot until I hit Elite then moved on. When I jump back on I get owned, you gotta train on that **** haha.

Its ok, I have a pretty dismal PvP record. I haven't played online in months.

Can't add you for some reason.

Either I mispelled something or my network is wonky. I'll get it fixed.

Re: Madden 08, I want to rip my hair out with the turnovers in this game. Fumble left and right. And when you throw to a guy wide open in the middle a linebacker catapults 3 feet in the air and picks it off. Ugh..

OK, so I went hunting today. Sadly enough, this is how I supplement my income: flipping games. I got Tetris DS, two copies of Persona 3, Tales of Symphonia and Lumines (the original packaging; the version which serves as a firmware crack for the PSP) all new. I haven't had a copy of Lumines since I sold my original PSP. Should I keep it? I would think it would have the best music selection as the newer versions are full of ****** pop, but I'm not sure. I don't keep up on the Lumines. Oh yeah, but if I sold it it'd be over a $70 profit, so there's that.

Bring it out to about 2002. EQ stayed good until about then. SoV was a great expansion.
