I'm with you on this one, I'm looking for someone to carpool with too and will be willing to compensate nicely.

MARC simply wouldn't work because, well, the whole not running on Saturday thing puts a crimp on things.

Our only real options are carpooling with compensation or renting a car.

Madgrad - the party is Friday, not Saturday. You shouldn't have a problem catching a train down.

I work near Columbia, MD but I live near Towson, MD. I leave work at 5pm and considering DC traffic on a Friday rush hour I don't plan on going home before heading down to DB. I'll probably just change at work.

So, I can't really give anyone a ride down but I could probably give people a ride back up to Baltimore afterwards unless you totally creep me out hahaha

Arlington is about 5.5 hrs from me but I'm curious to meet some SF folks. I might show up, if it's all right if I don't buy jeans or drink beer ... I'm currently kinda broke and on the wagon. I'll also have to find a place to crash, lol. So yeah, not bringing a lot to the table.

But it'd probably a fun alternative to playing in a Magic: the Gathering qualifier that weekend.

I'd say come on down and sip cranberry juice (subtle "The Departed" joke)

Hah I live in Parkville right above Towson.

Yeah catching the train down is no problem, it's getting *back* that gets tricky.

I might have to take you up on that offer for a ride back though, I'd pay of course.

I know Parkville well! I used to live right off of Loch Raven & Taylor, and also lived in Hamilton for a year too.

I don't think a ride back will be a problem assuming you don't get "Puke In The Car" drunk and I don't go pick up a car load of beautiful women who want to kidnap me and take me into the depths of DC

LOL!

I stay out in the county right by UMBC's campus. Anyway I could get the hookup on a ride back up the beltway too?
