How hard is it to park your car between the damned white lines? Really? Instead, you take up two spaces and force others to park farther and farther away from the store when it's freezing outside. Dicks.

There's a store here in Toronto called Harry Rosen; where middle aged guys go and deck themselves out with expensive, pretentious and precious looking clothing. I'm talking Tod driving shoes/black cord pants/black sheepskin coat with contrasting fur collar accessorized with - so you don't miss the point - a Burberry scarf. Some of them wear black fur caps. A few will smoke cigars while mincing in this outfit so as to make the point that unlike you; they know the inner secrets dispensed by Cigar Aficionado.

Utter tools and fools. And they look like their wives who wear a corresponding ensemble.

One of these days I'm going to walk by and flip the fur cap off one of these wankers. Fack.

Learned this weekend (via a "coming attractions" preview preceding Alvin & The Chipmunks) that Jim Carrey and 20th Century Fox are going to be perverting Horton Hears a Who a la The Grinch Who Stole Christmas.

Jim Carrey was good in Pet Detective. That was it for me. I can't stand looking at him

So, I let a girl borrow a DVD. The Criterion Collection version of La Jetee, my favorite film ever. She has it for two weeks. She doesn't watch it. Another girl asks me if she can borrow it. This girl is much cuter, so I try to get the DVD away from the other girl. She has it for two more weeks, doesn't watch it and returns it to me today with the case all fucked up. The spine looks like someone chewed on it.

I'll admit I'm a little OCD about my possessions but, what the ****? For some reason people in my age group do not give a **** about items that belong to other people. This always happens when I loan stuff to someone: it takes weeks or months to get it back (because said person is, "really busy", with what I don't know), it's returned fucked up or its lost altogether.
