If you were starting to build a bar and wanted to pick 3 750 ML bottles of booze from each category, which would you pick? My experience in alcohol is limited, and I'm afraid I know more of what I wouldn't.

For sure, I'd pick Lagavulin 16 year for my scotch whiskey category. Maker's Mark is good, though it's the only bourbon I've tried. Anyway the categories: Bourbon 1) 2) 3)\t Brandy\t 1) 2) 3)\t Gin 1) 2) 3)\t Rum 1) 2) 3)\t \t Scotch\t 1) 2) 3)\t Tequila 1) 2) 3)\t \t Vodka 1) 2) 3) Does anyone here know a lot about Rye Whiskey?
