Thanks LabelKing and Cantabrigian. The old watchband I picked up in a drawer in an older watchmakers shop. The shirt is from a Toronto maker -Trend Tailors.

Egiziano is very nice in pictures and obviously an important inspiration for the current subs, but it's pretty much unwearable. It looks like a clock strapped on a wrist...

It's 40mm and I don't think it's a problem at all. But that's my preference... some people like their watches 38mm or less. The Dornblueth above is 42mm and the Panerai Radiomir is 45mm to give you some points of reference....
