Stupid s*** my roommate says

im really shocked and angered to know there are actually people like poloist above who would put criminals and 'people not in the know' in the same grouping.

did that coworker who did not know about mangoes and hog hunting , ruin or threaten your life in anyway?

have a little understanding for some. there's a first for everything for anyone , you were there too, im sure those who taught you and were patient with you while you learned strongly resisted saying something ungrateful to you like ship you off with some criminals.
what is more shameful than lack of knowledge (actually not shameful at all, as long as you learn)

It would provide young Connemara with an almost 'Holden Caulfield' like college experience if his roommate would commit suicide. Best keep up with tradition like ImageWis suggested.

I know I shouldn't even joke about this, but my undergrad college had one of (if not the highest) suicide rates for students in the nation. Every semester, at least one or two students would throw themselves off of the library or one of the higher dormitories to the extent that one of the harshest punishments that could be given by the university to students was for even TRYING to gain access to a campus roof. Forget watching a meteor shower or taking your date to a romantic, secluded spot...
