Electric shavers, ever use one?

Someone just gave me an electric razor for a gift.

I suppose I'll try it, but it's hard to imagine switching from a razor shave.

Is anyone a user and fan of electric shavers?

I have been using a Braun as well, the 7500 series. They're okay when you need a quick shave, but I can never get as close a shave as I could with just good old Gillette Mach 3. With that said, I use them more often because they're quicker, and I don't need a baby-butt smooth shave.

Yeah, I use it for work and for "I just need to not be scriffly" moments. Very cool to have one. Remember to go in circles to get a closer shave!

Nothing beats manual razors for baby bottom smoothness. Nothing.

Um, hot wax. Not that I would recommend it. Ouch.

Hurts just thinking about it. Combined with the baby bottom concept, thats a hard sell...

Yikes.

I hate them. They leave little strange stray whiskers and in the end, the hassle of trying to get those stragglers leaves your skin at least as irritated as using a blade. I've only used Braun, not Remington.

So leave the strays there, as long as they are small they aren't too noticable.

Thats what I live by, anyway. Not scriffly + couple of strays > unshaven man-beast.

Or, you know, just shave like a man. Those strays make people look like hilbillies. YMMV.
