** but I'm surprised how many seem to think there's a "racial" motivation for this tattoo. I like the image of a knife going thru a head....and if I picked a white/black/brown head then it'd be more of a racial image rather than using something of my own likeness. Ultimately the right hand of justice cares not for the color of skin.

I'm a little lost at this as well. GS is Asian; he has a tattoo with an Asian head with a knife through it. What self-hating or racist aspect is there going on here? Is he an Asian that fetishizes Asians? Now that's an angle we haven't explored!

I like Asian women because they're all exotic and ****. Never mind that I'm Asian myself.

my only guess is there's carryover from the "what's pissing you off" thread where I went off on signs only in asian languages in my neighborhoods, which led to me complaining about my local asian community in general.

I, for one, would feel honored if my likeness was being skewered with something, in tattoo form, on Get Smart's arm.

I have the exact same spot open on my left forearm and was thinking of a matching "blade stuck in someone's head" tattoo to match....I wasnt sure what kind of head to do but a Saucemaster/Whodini (aka generic white bald guy) head would be perfect

I just got a pair of C&J Chelsea Boots, gently used from a forum member. Here's a picture of them next to my RM Williams boots.
img0731oy8.jpg
I have to say, the C&J boots are nicer. The leather is much more thick and supple and the details and last are slightly but clearly nicer, at least to my eye. The RM Williams are much tighter in the ankle. Some people might prefer that, but for me it means that they are incredibly difficult to put on and take off, even though they fit me well. That means that I would never dream of making them a travel shoe, as some people have suggested for Chelsea boots. The C&J though are very easy to slip off and on, even though they're very stable on my foot. They'll probably be me go to airplane shoe. I also love the antiquing on the toe of the C&J's.

I actually want a pair of multi eyelet varvatos in the black or cream color. I'm not sure why, but i do kinda like them. I saw the blue ones at a barneys outlet in orlando but none of the other colors. I recently bought a bson button hoodie in grey and bson french terry hoodie with the black accents. I'll post pics when i get them.
