I have the AE Westgate in size 13D. The first comment my wife made was "Gee, those shoes make your feet look big." I agree, but it's all relative to how my Ferragamo shoes look. I switched to Ferragamo shoes 20 years ago. Previously I wore AE but they made my feet look huge in contrast to a similar-style Ferragamo. I bought the AE Westgate even though it made my foot look larger than Ferragamo shoes because I wanted a simple one-piece shoe. Then I found and bought the Ferragamo Nostro. The Westgate is very comfortable and was a bargain for just over $300.

I think they look good, probably at the very top of my list of AEs I would buy.

I've never been a fan of AE wholecuts, but yours may have converted me, Augusto86.

the westgate?
no , it is not sleeker than 337. westgate is no where near sleek and is not even comparable to 337

337 is very elegant.
westgate is on 8 last , and although the 8 looks elegant on the hampstead, it strangely looks a bit blobby on the westgate.

it is best relegated to jeans and casual wear.

Have you thought about getting Cuban heels on those?

Stop thinking about putting things up my alley, ed. It's unsavory.

OK, I finally bit the bullet and bought these things. There's a ton of them going for $140 plus shipping at Grapevinehill if anybody else is on the fence.
