just got a pair of H&M organic cotton overdyed black jeans for $30.... 30% off $40
the denim feels not bad... seems like better quality than the typical H&M jeans (like sliqs,etc) but def not as good as some other stuff I have... (uniqlo, nudie)

as this is my first purchase of H&M jeans ,have any comments on these? tried them?

should i return them and get some more expensive overdyed blacks? (recommendations?)

I was bored so I walked around the mall last night. I found a canvass jacket with removable hood from a brand called Rogue (some cheap knockoff brand) for $40 marked down from $100. The body fits well but the sleeves are ridiculously baggy so I'll get it taylored and then post photos. Also picked up a tan double-pocket H&M button down and I was very happy when I got home today to find these have arrived - once again Dave at Distinctive Footwear impresses me with super quick shipping!

These are Allen Edmonds Perry Captoe Oxfords. Distinctive is a guy here on the site, his user ID is just "distinctive". I like the H&M Sliqs, and you can't beat their price for some nice dark denim.

I have no idea why people go to Old Pasadena at all. There are a few decent restaurants, but the vibe is strictly paint-by-numbers commercial. I mean, I went there, but that was because it was convenient (a couple of miles away) and I go there on my annual jaunts back because my meetings are all there, but I've never understood why people would drive from all over LA to hang out at a Gaucho Grill.
