Seal-Skin Shoes.

Here are some interesting and shall we say, unique, seal-skin shoes: http://www.thefedoralounge.com/showthread.php?t=16082 These are not mine, but I would like a pair simply for the fact that they are made out of a seal. I don't find them particularly attractive but certainly it looks like a very durable skin; rather like walrus, I suppose.

The skin looks funny.

does everyone on fedora lounge wear fedoras? i just clicked through their "show us your suits" thread or whatever and everyone looked like a southern hick, no offense.

It was a joke, I would never kill a seal (unless it broke into my house and was attacking my family) or pay someone for a shoe made of a dead seal.

Lobb St. James has a sealskin in one of their books. Nice-looking stuff, although probably not what you should admit to wearing on an Arctic cruise.
