Thanks for the kind words, guys, and for the feedback, GS. I was hoping the sweater, with its cream and navy, would integrate the whole look, but I think you make a good point. The cardigan is one of my favorites, so it gets worn with a lot of stuff.

Really, the combo came about just because I felt like wearing a bunch of things I really like all at once.

Freshly DIYed shirt (slimmed, hem shortened), stalely DIYed jeans (slimmed, hem shortened).

Does the shirt look OK? The pattern on the back got all mucked up, obviously, when I put the seam in, but I tried to make it an even 'V'.

And the pants: should I take more out below the knee?

Ken, 1) The back of the shirt looks like absolute hell. Keep it that way. The fit is on. 2) The first shot makes the area just below the knees look a bit odd. In the second shot things look a bit more even. I think 99% of the people on here might say to keep slimming down the calves but as my ol' partner in crime jet would say, "Don't listen to the sheep." Those jeans are different and don't need to look like everything else. All in all, I like the fit.

This is a cool look, if you're going for sort of a wealthy orange county homosexual vibe.

What pants are those from south willard? His new cords?
