So, what's the best toaster oven out there? Who's got one they love? Let's hear it.

Our old one (GE?) recently gave out and we replaced it w/ this one (I think):

So far, so good. It's fairly (by industry standards) basic. Definitely an improvement and does everything we ask of it, which, granted, isn't much....

I'll tell you right now... the toaster oven is probably the most under-rated kitchen appliance there is.

I use mine all the time.

Everyone should have one.

This model can currently be had at Costco or **'s for $100.

I currently have the Cuisinart if you've got any questions just let me know.

We've had that one for about a year now and got it at CostCo too. And I agree with Tokyo, very underrated piece of equipment. Last night I used it to do a leg of lamb I got from Trader Joe's, butterflyed off the bone and pre-seaoned. It can do a meatloaf, a turkey breast, a chicken, and is great for toasting up left over refrigerated pizza. CostCo pine nuts toasted in there are great too.

I highly recommend that model. Oh, try the convection setting for things like frozen fish fillets.

Agreed. Just for the simple fact of not having to turn my oven on and increase the temperature in the apartment by 3 degrees just to bake a ******* boca burger.

My wife and I have been looking for one for ages too. Romafan, when you open the door does it pull out the rack at the same time (automatically)?

We have two criteria: knobs and the tray must come out auto. when you open the door. So far no luck.

I'd avoid the KitchenAid...it's a POS.

The digital control model does not pull out when you lower the door. So that's out.

Just not the one the kid's family had in Time Bandits.

We have the Cuisinart one as well, and are quite happy with it.
