I was looking at this pink gold one from VC&A.

I just wish it were a liiiiitle bit wider.

Nice, but a little on the thin side. I do like the rounded bands, they are more comfortable too.

Btw, does this style match with your engagement ring?

Cartier, plain platinum band. It's narrow, simple and smooth.

+1 except I don't have a camera, and I'm not sure where the ring came from. It's nice and light, and unobtrusive. Not a jewelry guy and thought it'd feel strange, but has never bothered me. Inscripted on the inside w/ our initials & wedding date....

Thanks GDL. So that would be the same mm of the one I like. I think the size looks good on you and now actually I'm thinking 3mm would be fine.

What do you consider "large and loud"?

You could always find a custom jeweler to make a similar, but wider, design.

What do people think about rings that contain both yellow and white gold?

I kick myself now for not going with platinum at the time. It seemed expensive then, but in hindsight the price doesn't seem so bad.

Not that we want to think of a wedding band in terms of price appreciation...

3 or 4mm look good on most people. 2mm is too thin IMO and 5-6 mm doesn't look good unless you have really long fingers

I think pink gold is copper + gold.
