Oh God . . . we used to have one of those places too, and you're right, they were always advertising HB suit deals.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Bernini sort of the "Bebe" of men's stores? Sort of the striped shirt, going clubbing, "come closer to my kiosk and try this hand lotion" crowd?

Hugo Boss has a factory outlet in Metzingen, Germany. It's near Stuttgart.
The town has several other factory outlets, but the Boss one was first and it is HUGE. There's a separate building w/ fabric too. The last time I was there was about 2 yrs ago, and they had suits down to about $200, although the dollar was stronger then.

I suspect that here in Canada you might have to pay Harry. You could try Holts and see. I would have thought Vancouver would have had more shops but it sounds like Calgary which really has three or four who sell "high end" mensware. Vancouver is so close to the border you might want to call some shops south and see if they have it.

I've seen Hugo Boss suits in the $500 range at Holt's Last Call (outlet), in Vaughan Mills, but you'll be extremely lucky to find one in your size.

At the Boss outlet store in southern ontario the suits are all 695 CAD. If you're looking for better than that it'll have to be ebay or some fantastic sale.

Anybody know where I can get Hugo Boss suits in the Seattle area, other than Nordstrom. I am ruling out outlet stores because I'm pretty sure they won't have my size. I just want to compare prices south of the border. Is there an American equivalent of Harry Rosen?

Mario's carries quite a bit of Boss as does the downtown Nordstroms.
I think David Lawrence carries Boss too.

I know I've seen Boss suits in Nordstrom Rack stores.
There are several Rack stores in Seattle. When you're driving to Seattle,
you'll go right past one at Alderwood Mall in Lynnwood off of I-5.

Speaking as a former Holts and Rosens employee you are not going to be able to find a jam or queen sharp for $500 in Canada...especially in your size 36R. If you really want it then eat it up and pay harry his 1K.

If it means anything I think Hugo Black is junk, horrible fused construction with polyesterish looking cheap fabrics. (This coming from a former HB specialist).

If you do find suits on discount it will be the more widely distributed cuts such as the Pasolini, Rosellini, and Einstein.

Holts last call in TO does get some Boss but not in 36R, as they are mostly samples in 40R, and most of them are Selection or Boss Red.

If shopping at Rosens I would wait for sale time to pickup the Dolce Martini cut, which comes in at that time about 1K. We do buy 36R. Similiar cut to what you want in the Jam, skinnier lapel, drop 8, shorter jacket, 1/4 pickstitch, lower buttonstance, with half canvas and better fabrics.

I have a brand new Hugo Boss Gable/Vegas suit in EU 50R (I think thats US 40R), it would also fit someone in EU 52R (like it fits me and I'm EU 52), its brand new from the shop colour is light grey with a hint of blue 60% cotton 30% silk. I'm looking to sell it as I have too many suits and if you like I could sell it to you for $500 + shipping from europe, I bought it from Hugo Boss for 700 euros (I think thats around $1000 or over).. Let me know what you think.. You can get in touch with me on [email protected] if you are interested, thanks.

Call the Hugo Boss and other outlet stores that may carry Hugo Boss at the Seattle Premium Outlet Stores in Tlalip and ask if they have your size. Here is the link for all the information you need:

I tried on this suit too (at Harry Rosen as well), but the lapels felt way too large. Salesperson agreed with me when I pointed this out. It offset the slimness of the slim fit. Tried to find a picture online and found this site where they sell it for $495. http://www.suitupp.com/products/hugo...el-gable-vegas

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I went down to the Seattle Premium Outlets today but they don't have a Hugo store. I checked out the Nordstrom website. The Hugo styles they carry seem more conservative but I like the look of the Einstein Sigma. Their prices aren't much better than Harry's though, after factoring in the cost of driving down there and getting the alterations done closer to home.

Harry's puts Hugo Boss on sale as well. Usually in the $600-700 range (I believe they include alterations). In fact there is a sale on now but I am not sure what they have for HB since it is in the later stages. The next big sale is in December I think.
