Recent purchases

This color wasn't even on the shelf as they had I think just one or two sizes of it.

Lanvin in NYC = Barneys and Jeffery.

Those would be truly interesting were they real snow leopard. The more endangered the animal, the better.

These have been sitting in Brooks Brother's clearance section since the beginning of the year and still had my size so I picked them up, got them today and they fit perfect and are pretty f'ing rad boots. Really heavy and beefy. These are the Peals, same as Alfred Sargent "Grasgrene" country boots.

Bunch of new stuff: Helmut Lang grey classic fit, low rise jeans. Given to me by a friend. Borrelli pink sport shirt with some kind of vintage wash, from Shop the Finest: Finamore flannel button down, blue and yellow checks, also from StF. Della Ciana cashmere sweater, also with a vintage wash, also from StF. I love this color. Red camel/cashmere/wool blend sweater from VCH. Red Wing Irish Setters. A few months ago I was dealing with a flooded building in rural Texas and needed some appropriate footwear. I found a Red Wing store and there was this one pair of Setters, a special order that was never picked up. The owner's accent was so strong he had to repeat "special order" to me about a dozen times before I new wtf he was talking about. Paul Smith shirt, from NM Last Call.

If you are interested in knits, you should go visit Ian (Shop The World's Finest) at his storeroom in Santa Monica. I think you need an appointment, but apparently, his inventory far exceeds that on his website.

Seriously, there are hundreds and hundreds of fine Italian sweaters (and Avon Celli polos, too, for that matter) in every color, style and size. There are several lifetimes worth of unique wardrobes in that place.

Just got these in. They are Henderson Fusion. I couldn't find anything else about them, but they look better than the picture. I think they may be the best constructed pair of shoes/boots, or any garment for that matter, that I own... Thank you YOOX!!

speaking of yoox, I just got these neil barrets from them. The quality is there, but I am just nure sure about the shape (last?). I am new to "real" shoes. I want a pair that I can distress myself (by walking in them). I dunno, the shape just scares me a little...
