How do sizes run in this shoe?

If I am a 10.5 in AE and a 9.5UK in EG and C&J and a 9UK in Lobb 8000, any advice on sizing in this Sutor?

Thanks.

I have the same problem. It is a pity that they don`t offer narrow widths.

Not really Appreciation worthy (in pics quality and prestige); but, figure easier to get the question answered here than a new thread.

What is the "Custom Grade" thing on the inside label about on the Church's I just bought?

In the old days (pre-prada), "custom grade" was merely the designation Church's gave to the higher-end line of its shoes. It didn't really mean a whole lot specifically, as, for example, some shoes in the line had linen linings in the toe and some had full leather linings. Per fashion industry SOP, it is basically a couple of words signifying nothing. If it influenced you to make a purchase or pay more, it did its job.

Nope. Just an after-thought.

Good eye. That's why I bought them.
My Thom Browne's are brown. I bought these for 1/2 of what I would for the black Thom Browne ones.

Not at all. Half the floors at my job are marble/tile and the clank clank of the heel and taps can get annoying.

But...but...the Church's don't have a little pull-tab on the back of the shoes! HOW WILL ANYONE KNOW WHO MADE THEM?! AHHHHHHHHH

I get the point of having these in both brown and black. I have a pair of Carmina Longwings in brown shell (with a triple sole), which is the functional equivalent of your brown pebble grain. But I could still use a pair of black longwings for some chunkier finish suits. Either that or a double soled wholecut derby in black.

Are the shapes of the lasts pretty similar. I won't try to judge from the single head on photo of each that you took, so what do you think? Is one nicer than the other?
