+1. Interesting to see someone wear them at true waist instead of slouched like everyone else. I wouldn't wear them that high but they still don't look bad.

My ample ass prevents me from wearing them much lower at this point. I kept trying to tug 'em down. I guess I imagine they'll be easier to wear a bit lower when they stretch a bit.

Well, my true waist is really higher than that; the waistband still make plenty of contact with my hips.

Part of my problem is that I have short legs and a relatively long torso. It looks higher than it is because of the proportion.

Thanks for the encouraging feedback.

I'll try to get a pic with a comparably untucked shirt like everyone else so the waist doesn't look so strange.

Yeah, once those stretch an inch in the waist and can be tugged down a few inches, they'll be a perfect slim fit. Those shoes look rather chunky combined with the small hem, though -- might want to find something slimmer for the feet.

Just means they sit lower on the hips, loosely, like they're going to fall off.

That's what I figure. I love that they are cut in a way where the fit is uniform from top to (almost) bottom, since most of the taper is from the crotch to the knee.

Yeah, my wife said the same thing (they're the Peal & Co. Desert Boot). I still kinda like them, but I'll try the jeans with some brogues or my Sambas.

If yer gonna wear desert boots, I'd cuff them so they dont break so much. Stacked onto sambas should look fine tho
