Late to this hate party, but I like the way Chris. dresses much of the time. I would never do it, but he does it well. I guess I don't understand all of the bitterness.

There is a lot to be said about having your own style. You can't really have style at all without one.

I agree. I don't necessarily side with some comments but at least it has people talking. This place has been a bit stale lately. And my vernacular was somewhat of a jab on the late use of "twat" in this forum mixed with Chris' remark towards a critic some time ago.

Theres nothing wrong with the word **** or twat except maybe cunty-twat. Or is that synergy...? There was nothing in Chris's purchase post, insularly speaking, that would identify him as an "angsty cult follower". (They were nice pick ups IMO.) There was instead a reply to all his WAYWN post in aggregate. I only wonder if all the praise he receives is just tributes of attrition for being anomalous. Calling his fits "Ann D uniform" is a misnomer, she has more breadth than that. Well that and SoCal's solecisms against forum dogma are becoming just as trite as the jabs at him for having money. And this:

****. What happened since i left this thread to go downtown and sweat to bad folk music while staring at really hairy female legs? Mad vegan style everywhere though. Really krispy stuff.

I do believe that there was semi-interesting conversation hidden inside some of the replies everyone went back and forth with, however both camps had their issues.

Who- I'm interested in the stone jacket you picked up. Is it a blazer? I'm assuming you purchased it online and i was just curious as to what it looked like in a link or something. Since it's just a jacket, i assume you're going to wear it casually and you see a lot of people wear black blazers with casual stuff and i'm interested in seeing what you do with it in waywn.

If i'm bored tomorrow i might just snap a pic with my peacoat if i can stand to wear it outside (the house has bad lighting) for 2 minutes. Classes start again in a week so i'll have an excuse to wear decent clothes soon. I really really like this 55% linen s/s western shirt i bought from the levis site last week. Fits absolutely perfect and looks great. I'm going to wear the hell out of it.

Also, i'm thinking of selling some stuff to get some money to buy those ndc brogues or even these ndc boat shoes. Nothing too fantastic being sold by me, but be on the look out anyway.

I'm planning on wearing it with a lighter shirt and some brown ferragamo's. It was NWT for $62 so I couldn't pass it up. GetSmart's stalking my house waiting to steal it from my front door because he knows it's coming USPS w/ confirm delivery.

Haha. I'm sure he is. Don't worry, i'll send my ditzy old lady carrier to hunt him down. She's some sort of sleuth. Looks nice though and a great deal.

Kronik- all love man, don't worry. I'm kinda curious on your thoughts on the shoes. The ones i'm look at are a lighter tan color, but i can't tell because the picture the user posted seem kinda sun washed. They look nice style and detail wise and i'm sure the construction is going to be on point as i've heard only good things about ndc quality. How are they comfort and looks wise(when worn)? Just interested in hearing your take on them since you own them.

Chris- I hope you don't stop posting here because of one dreadfully boring/safe guy. I mean, i see your posts at sufu, but i don't mind seeing em' twice. I know how you feel with telling parents about purchases. My parents still think my PBJs cost $50 from ebay.

Anywho, if you're still interested, the jeans are Nom De Guerre, they're selvedge, and it's a light steel color.

I'm having some weird stacking problems but I'm really satisfied with them for now.

Who, gorgeous jacket. I've no idea why but I've never been able to wear Paul Smith. They carry PS in the shop where I used to work and I could've gotten it for wholesale but none of the stuff fit me for some reason. The shirts were always a touch too big and the jackets just had the wrong proportions. I always got so jealous of my customers on whom the items fit perfectly. 4 years of selling PS and all I've got to show for it is one lousy western-style shirt from Red Ear that I had taken-in in the back. Bitter.
