amazing. Is this illusion an allusion to The Emperor's New Clothes?

Gandalf.
And the Elven cloaks that they recieved from Galadriel when The Fellowship passed through Lothlorien did not give invisibility per se; but, rather to those of a weaker mind or intellect they confered great stealth and would help the wearer "blend in" and not all together become invisible (the One Ring did that). Also, Gandalf was not in the party at this point because they arrived there after they passed through the Mines of Moria in which he fell and battled a Balrog before returning to the broken fellowship in The Great Ent Forest as Gandalf the White.

I dont know why everyone is bitching. Style and looks are completely subjective so people are going to have different opinions. Callin Socal out on his comment is pretty stupid. He was just voicing his opinion. I think of shellshock is wearing a run of the mill outfit but at the same time she makes it seem less boring than most people would wearing that with her good looks. In the end the outfit seems like there was no thought put into it but Im guessing she wasnt really trying so gives a ****

I would guess that by now, shell probably either feels pretty special because of all the free press she's getting here, or she's wondering why we haven't moved on yet.

Don't try to change the subject.

It was a pretty lame attempt anyway.

I believe I chose my words carefully when I said "we" gave advice on your choices.

I'm also rather forgetful and for that I apologize. After your eleven year-old "nobody came to my birthday party"-inspired fit, you made it quite clear that you're not here to take advice. Take compliments, ogle guys, and bask in your own LCD-image--yes. But constructive criticism? I'm sure we'd have better luck resurrecting Skeet Ulrich's career.

My problem isn't with you voicing your opinion, it's simply that your's is another example of "this fit sucks" posting, something which I have trouble seeing as being either valuable or meaningful seeing as there was hardly anything "constructive" about it.

In closing, I'd like to repeat the words of my now-life partner Edmorel:
I'd take you seriously, but you wear red patent loafers and a goofy velvet oversice bow tie.

I think we're being had. If that were a real Thom Brown cloak we'd be able to see his ankles.
