+1, the owner of the "in need of repair" place should sue the other house owners for visual aggression. That garage has been optimised to fit as many SUVs as possible...

They are both ugly. I lived a couple blocks from Bart Prince's house in Albuquerque. I was too young to to care, but I'm sure his neighbors bitched.

I hate closely-packed suburbs. When I buy in a couple years I'm not even gonna look at anything with less than half an acre. I was browsing realtor.com and I think people that build 3000+ sq.ft. homes on .17 acre lots are completely marsupialed. Who wants to have an alley between their home and the next?

I also agree that houses with garages that take-up 3/4 of the front of the house look really ugly.

One's a reminder of the modern materialist mindset and the other, a reminder of gentler but altogether generic times.

Because all of his neighbors live in stucco homes built in the spanish or mission style. Mr. Prince's UFO is clearly visible from the sidewalk and street, and uh... is rather conspicuous in it's uniqueness. Knowing what kind of stuff stupid people ***** about, I wouldn't be surprised at all if sometime in the past 20 years or so nobody had complained. Here's a google map view of his neighborhood.

Hahah

What a hilariously proportioned entrance. Looks as fake as Kim Kardashian's exit.
