Walking down the street in the Netherlands is a trip: the old people are little dwarfs scurrying around the legs of the giant young people. (I'm 6', I felt short for the first time in my life.) If different countries have different height distributions, are S, R, and L jackets from each country designed for the same height range?

If it's not athletic than what is it?

It's interesting that regardless of body type, they put everyone into a 2B jacket. I tend to agree as I've seen very few 3B jackets that wouldn't have been more flattering as a 2B.

Is that photo of Chuck photoshopped? He always looks like he has a keg, not a six pack. As Tito Ortiz said, "Look at that belly. You should be called the Snowman!" Not that I would say this to his face.

It's the wonderful world of Styleforum where average drop is 12, average IQ is 150 and average penis length is 9.5".

The best suit fit? Its called the g-y-m and d-i-e-t. Lose some extra flab, live a longer/healthier life, and look better in clothing!

Nah I'm sure he did a heavy cut for the photo shoot to get below 10% bodyfat. I'd say he normally fights at 10-12% -- hardly the 6-pack levels displayed in rags like Men's Health.

My high school in the states was about 85% dutch. I'm 5'11", and felt incredibly short.

Should have said athletic-looking.

He has somewhat narrow shoulders, longish arms and a belly. Compared to some of the other fighters, Lidell is not the first who comes to mind as looking like a fit athlete.

To my eye he has an average body type of a guy who looks like he works out.

Ummm... don't tell him I said that.

you think you felt short, try being 5'7". Then try wandering through Amsterdam on a bustling friday afternoon after having gone a bit overboard on certain local specialties known for inducing paranoia. No fun at all.

I had to struggle with exactly this issue. What to say about the man who has no issues? I did write a short chapter about such men, and the advice -- while not groundbreaking -- is at least not false. The fact is, there is not much to say except, You are lucky, wear anything you want.
