Man In Space your pics are amazing, as are a lot of others. This is one of the best threads going right now, can't believe Tokyo started it. For a beginner, how important is the equipment? I see a lot of you posting the camera you used is why I ask.

Cute dog is actually an old Japanese saying borrowed from English which roughly translates to: "very much friendly looking wife person, with nice personality that I am in no way sexually attracted to even though she is very beautiful and talented and you are a very lucky man to have married her, while miraculously managing to marry neither above or below the social, economic, aesthetic, and intellectual status of your most honorable self."

Whats that supposed to mean? Am I incapable of starting a worthwhile thread? Its because of my mole isn't it. Sob. Seriously, for a beginner (if you are planning to practice, get better, and upgrade later)- buy a 35mm film camera with the following equipment on it. Shutter speed control Aperture control A decent, flexible lens My personal reccomendation is something like the Olympus is-50 (what I started with)

Tokyo, you're just pissed because you want to **** my dog/lizard wife.

LSeca, I am definitely a beginner. I don't think equipment is as important as your own eye. My shots were all taken on automatic setting on a $400 6MP Fuji camera. Thanks for the compliment!

Wow, I was expecting a decent camera to cost a lot more. Thanks for the link.

Btw, I have a suspicion your mole is fake.

If you decide thats the one you want... buy mine. It's in perfect shape and I'll give you a discount cause I know you have a shotgun, and you know I don't.
