Up for sale are brand new Grenson Masterpiece Captoe Spectators sz. US11D, made in England. Asking $250 shipped continental US ($15 additional for international), not including the trees. I believe retail on these are about $650. Please note there is some creasing on the fabric, but hardly noticeable, especially with pants. These fit true to size. Measurements, if they're helpful: Outsole Length: 12 1/2" Outsole Width: 4 1/8" PM if interested.

Sweet. Wish they were a 10, I'd be all over those.

If anyone has these in a 13, I am all over them. Seriously - this was the one shoe I desperately wanted from the PS sale of yore, and while I got a great call, this is the "one that got away"...

wish they were 11.5. I think 11 might be too snug.

Yah, there's no way it would fit a size 11.5. They would actually be perfect for any true 11D.

Is that Linen on the sides ? It looks like the linen is badly formed in the side view?

I'm not sure what material it is. Canvas cotton perhaps? Yes, there is creasing of the fabric as I mentioned in my original post, which can probably be fixed, but is negligible when you are wearing pants. Plus it's selling for 38% of full retail. Not bad, I think.

I have impression that PS Grensons are all sized half a size too small. The ones I bought form Bennie's were too small at US 7.5 (I wear US 7.5D)
And Masterpieces that I bought at NY sale being US 8 are just about right.

Thanks for the feedback on sizing. Always good to get various opinions on fit. I find that these shoes are not overly wide. If you wear a 10.5, these might fit, but a tad long, but just check the measurements. If you are an 11D, IMHO, these would not be tight, snug at best. The fit is really spot on - no confusing UK or Euro to US sizing conversions to deal with.

With the side wrinkling issues you should be sending them back or dropping further the price IMHO.

I'm asking 35% of the retail price. More than fair for Grenson Masterpiece's that are as well made, at least as C&J handgrades. The creasing doesn't look bad, and if I hadn't said anything, could easily be accepted as part of the character of shoe. And, unless you wear these shoes with shorts, it is hardly noticeable.

Thanks A. Harris, they are awesome shoes!

charachter? when the shoes are obviously brand new? Tell the truth you are selling them because you do not like the wrinkling and cut your losses!
