^^ They are made by margiela though. The normal military sneakers by Margiela cost abotu 360 and never go on sale. Only the variations like the one he bought do. I imagine he got them for half price at barneys or something. They were def on sale...

Vintage german army sneaks are nowhere near the ones by Margiela except for the design.. It's a bit like comparing STF Levi's with Sugarcane.

^^Funny thing is although they look similar it's so easy to tell them apart and the quality of the leather is a night and day difference. I don't really give a **** if nobody realizes mine are margiela b/c I like sublety even though they're grey.

i think it was tomorrowland in tokyo that carries reproduction german army shoes; other than that, you can find them in berlin
