Could a suit be more wrong than this one?

I don't hate it in general, but there are a few issues:

Jacket seems to be pulling open at the collar
Lapels are little wide for such a close-cut shoulder, though the overall effect isn't as bad as you would expect with the tip of the lapel almost reaching the shoulder seam
Pants are too short

I'll let the cuffs go...

+1

I will say the combination of short pant length and the tight rise make the pants look like they are pulled up way too high and not just hemmed purposely this way. The pants need a longer rise, other than that I agree with your likes/dislikes.

I like the colors. But: the lapels are disproportionately wide, and the pulling is a downer, and the pants are too tight and too short. And I really don't like the shirt collar.

I'd say, though, that Drizzt's candidate takes ugliness to a whole new level.

If I squint and look at the picture, I think the jacket has a nice silhouette. It's only when I open my eyes wide that they hurt. I'm in the same camp as several others here who say:

- the pants are too short and tight
- he should wear socks
- the shirt collar is limp
- a more standard notch lapel would be nicer

I`m not a big fan of the 2B peak, but I`m not against it either.

In my opinion, it`s not the suit that`s the main problem in this picture, it`s everything else besides the suit.

I hate it when suits like that get made. It's gaudy junk like that which turns people off to fashion.

I loathe fashion. I turned-off the satorialist a long time ago when he started going-off about how he loved this or that in outfits that just looked stupid.

I like the fabric, but his look is too affected.

Decent haircut though, very clean.

Suede tassle loafers with a suit, and no socks, in summer. My feet feel dirty and slimy just thinking about it.

It could be worse, but it also had the potential to be much much better. It doesn't work - it looks far too forced and contrived for a 'fun/relaxed/sprezzatura' look. The sycophants are always annoying.

i dont mind the colors and the patterns but...

the fit as Aharris has pointed out is just so bad the collar does not hug the neck and there is not enough fabric to cover his chest

I was going to login and hammer this suit when I saw it posted last night on his site but frankly I'm tired of his blog and the ludicrous things that he celebrates.

He has a reasonably decent eye when it comes to women's fashion -- though he seems to have a fetish for women who weigh less than 90 pounds -- but he picks some real doozies when it comes to men's clothing.

Has anybody actually seen pants this short on a person in the real world? I know that I have not.
