It has happened a few times and I don't really care. I usually say something like, "hey, nice jeans", or "hey, nice shirt", etc. It gets a laugh out of everyone involved and we go on with our days.

I went to H&M today and happened to be wearing (somewhat distinct) shorts that I purchased there on an earlier trip.

As I was checking out, the guy next to me was wearing the same exact shorts!

At first I was like OMG! Then I was like WTF!?! Then I was like LOL! Then I was all like SMD!

I've come to the shop (CONTEXT) on several occasions to find Sam wearing the same jeans & Tee combo. I keep a small closet in our studio for this reason.

That's funny. I once saw some reality tv show where a guy had my t-shirt on and that other show, The Bachelor ... the guy had my cashmere zip up sweater from bloomingdales. I learned my lesson ... quit watching reality TV with my wife.

last year i was wearing a white polo and brown/green plaid shorts in a mall near palm springs and i saw this guy wearing different brand stuff that just happened to look almost identical, even the pattern on the shorts, but just different enough to tell it wasn't the same. As we walked past each other he was like "Nice outfit." Made me laugh.

The only time this has ever happened was with a burgundy merino wool sweater from Banana Republic. From thenceforthwith I swore never to buy a BR top again, precisely due to the risk of seeing someone else with the same thing on.

When I wear a white tee, I always see at least one person wearing one. Not sure if it is the same brand and all that crap, but same concept.

In Baltimore - no. I think I'm the only person in this god-forsaken town that even owns a pair of nudies or APC (you certainly can't buy them in any of the stores around here)... although there's no short supply of Diesel and 7FAM.

I was in SoHo/NYC on Saturday and that was the first time I saw someone else (not in a touring band) wearing nudies, APC, Acne and Nom in person.

I was at a wine festival last month and saw at least 3 guys wearing the same target printed t-shirt I bought last year.. that was kinda creepy.

This always happens with a friend of mine - very similar tastes. I have this in mind whenever i'm purchasing clothes as we'll try to out-do each other. Any new obscure-Japanese-limited-edition-hard-to-buy item is jealously guarded to secure the bragging rights which, of course, must be made as nonchalantly as possible... 'oh this? i've had it ages, apparently they don't make them anymore'.

Never. My clothes are too expensive. I'm rich, you see.
