Your Pizza Hut Book-It! winnings fed you well in your youth, and you feel a vague sense of nostalgia for a time when your ability to read was a food source.

Doing things this way defeats the purpose of this exercise. Anyway, given the scope of this thread, what would lead you to believe that Latin music is at all off-limits?

All I can tell you is that once a friend received a fortune cookie with a blank piece of paper inside. I wasn't sure if he'd been born anew or if his death was imminent. We looked for rooftop snipers as we exited the buffet. I have only once encountered The Onion, left behind on a Chicago train.

This is an interesting list entirely unlike any that have preceded it. I simply cannot assess it, being unfamiliar with these artists.

If you specifically narrow the focus of your list it can only take this in the direction of a "You are a comical jazzbo addicted to the marihuana smoke! Tutututut!" sort of thing, and that doesn't really work.

I was just wondering -- how does the Pitchfork Media website display on your smartphone, grandfather? What's that? I can't hear you over the gramophone static.

There are undercurrents of racialism and "might is right" Ragnar Redbeard-style thinking in your every deed. You have at some point in your life gone completely overboard with the posters/stickers.
