I use Rudy Project Kerosenes - work really well for me. Keep me fairly cool on my 12-mile bike commute - and the swappable lenses are a godsend for when I have to get back late in the evening.

One of their nicest features is the built-in vent. I've never experienced fogging with them, whether cycling or skiing.

I'd not wear them around town, though - too much of a sports geek look.

I use Oakley's X metal Juliets with presription, along with Lindbergs' stripwires. I recently bought a pair of Randolph Engineering Aviators and had prescriptions put in: It is an excellent buy, very classic styling (not 'old' like Ray ban's aviators), and wonderful workmanship (the hinge/frame/temples are all separate machined pieces). Randolph Engineering It looks best in matte chrome with grey lenses

Pretty much. I like a lot of the Persol designs, and they are relatively well made for what they are (LVMH sunglasses, which includes a lot of "overpriced designer lines") - they have decent glass lenses and are available with polarized lenses as well.

Joel, you're sure getting around on the sunglasses threads...

What's 'LVMH'?

Think I might get some.

Sorry, you're right, for some reason I was thinking they were part of the same group but I guess not. Anyway, Luxottica does make a bunch of different designer brands to varying levels of quality, and Persol is IMO one of the better ones.

I agree. I've been wearing Persol forever and was anticipating a change in quality and/or price with the Luxottica acquisition. Ten years later, the quality is as good as ever and the price-point is actually lower than when Persol was an independent.

I like my Mykita sunglasses. The quality is amazing and they are extremely light and comfortable. The temples fit perfectly no matter how big your head is due to the design. Its not tight like some companies for certain heads.

I have the opposite problem. Most sunglasses are way to big and wide for me. 95% of all sunglasses are too big!

Mykita are built in a way where they fit pretty much everyone well. The temples and hinges are designed that they sort of bent to fit the persons head...nothingl like ive seen before..very well made
