The GAP, along with Levi's, Carhatt, Tommy Hilfiger

etc., despite being considered by most as 'played out' in the US, actually hold decent cachet on the other side of the Atlantic.

My only problem with GAP shirts is that they fit me like hand-me-downs from an obese older sister.

I was beginning to think I was the only one. Some people on here rave about their "Atheletic fit" but I still think it's terrible and I think that Gap/Banana Republic caters to the "I gained 20 lbs during freshman year of college" size person.

Well, they *do* cater to that demographic, but people with a decent amount of muscle with a frame that's not rail thin to begin with might fit GAP shirts pretty well. But that's not me... my build, if I let my body do what it wants to do naturally, hovers somewhere between "forced labor camp internee" and "famine victim".

I like the pics, too, but I disagree, I think it's a great fit.
