In regular rotation about 2-3 pairs. 3 or so more pairs I wear on the rare occasion, and then I have about 9 or 10 more from the past that I don't wear anymore.

Regulars:
- Earnest Sewn Fulton
- Diesels
- Crap pair of Hollister for bumming around in

Rare occasion:
Few pairs of GAP jeans from when I worked there.

I'm in the same camp. I don't throw anything away, and my weight can go up or down based on time of year (not excercising as much as summer) or if I slack off (very slow metablolism). So, at any given time I might have a few pairs that I'm wearing.

credit? Do you mean a receipt for tax purposes? I've never heard of a thrift store giving store credit. That would be really cool as 30-40% of my wardrobe ends up being donated semi-annually.

Um, 2 -- both GAP. One faded (relaxed fit), one dark blue (some sort of wide leg).
Used to have a pair of denim overalls, but they're history.

Holy ****....you could've fed every resident of Nigeria with the $ you've spent on denim.

Actually, I like both RRL jeans the best. The Slim Bootcut is raw and the Lowrise Bootcut is one-wash. For some reason, the Lowrise is slimmer than the Slim Bootcut and is a straight leg, not a bootcut. The denim on both is phenomenal in both color and texture, and a decent weight enough to be worn all year.

Ironically, I bought them both brand new for a song on ebay, and I like them better than jeans that i spent 4x as much on.

In order of favorite/most worn:

Earnest Sewn Fulton 06 Maz Dark
Acne Mic Ridgid
Diesel Larkee 8aa
Earnest Sewn Fulton 50 Line Dry
Nudie RRDS
Nudie RRDG
Paper Denim LTD 2yr
Rag & Bone RB6a (too short)

On the way: Jean Shop straight leg dry

Of the last three on the list, I pretty much never wear them anymore, but they're good every so often.

Budgetary constraints (I keep flying places instead of getting more) have kept the rotation pretty tight, though the 'must have' list is growing...
(and I missed out on 34length 5EP in the deadstock sale)

I have a rule, where when I go through my stuff and I haven't worn it in a year, I give it away. (one of my friends insists that he gets first dibs when I off jeans, so far he's gotten two pairs of Diesels... though I got a pair of JOhnston-Murphy captoes when he decided to reciprocate)
