Completely agree on both counts. Though I think I might be able to forgive either if they hadn't changed the second hand.

I recently e-mailed IWC asking if the new dial and hands could be swapped out. I wasn't surprised when they said no.

I suppose I could get one custom done elsewhere but I've just taken it as a sign that I don't need a watch that would hand over the sides of my wrist.
